How do I spread excel sheet across two monitors?

I have Office 2003. Athlon 64 3200+. 1gb ram. Ati Radeon 9800. dual monitors
with settings "extend my desktop across both monitors"

Click on the "Restore down" button in the upper right hand corner of the
window, to reduce the size of the Excel window to less than full screen, and
then drag the lower right corner of the window to the other monitor.....

Excellent! I find this works very well. My problem was that I was trying to
use the maximize icon, and when I did, it would put the whole sheet on
whicever monitor it was on at the time.
