How do i stop my cursor from floating everywhere?

I've been having trouble with my cursor floating erratically across my page
when I type. It occurs in every program. I've tried changing my mouse to
three different mice (all optical). I've tried using a dark mousepad, a light
mousepad, no mousepad.

It's extremely frustrating.

Please help!

Try Checking it, apply, and then Uncheck it, Apply. In other word toggle
it and see if that switchs it off.
