how do i stop printing on half a page

not very good on computers

my microsoft word is printing the document on only half a page and is
squashing it all up, i hav tried changing all the printing settings to A4 but
it still isnt working,
how do i change it?

This is just a stab in the dark (and it would have helped if you'd mentioned the
version of Word involved), but check

- Tools/Options/PRint that the option to change A4 to Letter isn't activated

- File/Print: Zoom is set to 1 page and no scaling.
