How do I stop the cursor from blinking in MS Word?

MS Office Word 2003. Can't make the cursor stop blinking. Distracting,
driving me crazy. Please assist.

Sorry, not possible.

Some say the purpose of Word is to drive people crazy. :)

You can change the blink rate on the Speed tab of the Keyboard folder in
Windows Control Panel.
