How do I stop Windows Installer popups?

A windows installer box pops up frequently while working
in msword. It takes several trys to close using the cancel button. In task
manager there ususlly is an image shown as running as well as windows
install. How can I stop this?

A couple of possibilities - did you install it as a user with administrative
access rights and then go in as a person with lower access rights? Best thing
to do either way is to do a full reinstallation of Word so that it all ruins
from your PC and it won't then ask for the CD at any point!
