How do I store permanent PowerPOint editing macros, as in Excel?

I have many Word files of songs in verses which I want to put on PPT slides.
I need a macro to be globally available and to set font, language etc
formats and to insert verse numbers and indents.

You would need to create an add-in.

Create an ADD-IN with TOOLBARS that run macros

However, I'd think that PPT's master slides and templates should take care
of most of that for you.
