How do I strip "activeX controls" from a signature?

I'd like to create a signature containing a horizontal line, some italicised
text and a website link. I've created one in Word 2003, saved it as html,
then used the file as a signature template in Outlook 2003. The problem is I
now get a warning when creating a new email that my "security settings
prevent running ActiveX controls".. So how do I strip them? My antivirus
and firewalls are both kept up to date.

Cheers,
Brian

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for replying.

Rather than adjust my settings though (& expect everyone who receives emails
from me to do the same), I was hoping to identify how to remove any ActiveX
controls that have snuck in to my signature.

Thinking that it may be something to do with Word saving my doc out as htm,
I tried creating the signature within the edit signature box in Outlook
instead - this worked. I no longer have my horizontal line, but the text and
weblink now work fine without prompting any warnings when I create a new
email.

Cheers,

Brian
