How do I - Strip last letter from field

I want to strip the last character from a cell, but only if it is a number.
00400200C would return C
040T1C would return C
0040202 wouldn't return anything or null

Try the below formula with the data in cell A1

=IF(ISNUMBER(RIGHT(A1,1)+0),"",RIGHT(A1,1))
