What template did you use? The page tabs on the status bar can be dragged to
different positions. It is best to view your publication without the two page
spread turned on when you want to move pages. Publisher wants to move two pages
when the two page spread is selected. (I am assuming you are using a
booklet/newsletter setup).

it was a Newsletter template - 4 pages. Are the page tabs you refer to at the
bottom left hand side of the screen. Showing 1,2,3 & 4 for example. I dont
seem to be able to drag them at all. Confirm I only have one page open at a
time.

I assumed you were using 2003. There is an add-in here for moving pages in
Publisher 2002.

In earlier versions, select all on the page, group, drag it to the scratch area,
do the same with the swap page.
