How do I swap the default name when saving multiple messages?

I have several folders with hundreds of emails I wish to save.

Is it possible to make the default file name the date and time so I can
simply copy them and keep the right order without having to swap the names
individually?

No, not if you are using the File, save as menu. You could use VBA or a 3rd
party utility to save them and have better control over the naming
convention.
