How do I synchronize a laptop, desktop over a Lan

B

I use a desktop running 98SE, (it has connection for telephony to my office
digital phones), a new XP laptop (I spend a lot of time on the road) and a
Treo 600. I can sync the laptop or the desktop with the Treo thru it's own
software and wire connection. Data such as reminders for tasks, calls and
flagged contacts is lost as the Treo doesn't support those items. How can I
sync the data directly from the desktop to/from the laptop over the office
LAN?

Bob..b,
You could have a look here:
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm
There are other alternatives listed, you may want to look at this one:
http://www.vaita.com/index.asp
not sure on support for 98se.
You would have better results if you had 2 xp pro systems to use with the
treo for this pupose.
Also, you could search / post here:

or here for LAN help:

search / post in the appropriate group.
