How do I synchronize between a safety checklist and a maintenance?

I am looking to create a safety checklist in Access that when there is a
problem will give me an option to generate a web based maintenance request,
or create a cleaning list for later use. I would also like to be able to
track the date on the maintenance request with the actual date of problem
resolution. Any help would be appreciated.
