How do I syncronise websites?

Hi,

I was experiencing problems with my home system so I updated my website
directly on the server from my friends house.

Now my system at home is working properly again I can use it to update the
website in the usual way. The problem is however that the site on my system
is now out of date the site on the server.

My question is how do I get the up to date version of my website from the
server onto my system at home.
