How do I transfer a slideshow with audio to VCR tape?

My computer has an S-Video output. If I plug in the TV to the computer's
S-video output directly, I can view the pres. on my TV, but if I put the VCR
in-line between the computer and the TV, it doesn't record any signal. And
S-video doesn't transfer the audio, but that's another issue.

First you have to set your VCR to "auxiliary input". Connect the S-Video Out
(computer) to S-Video In (VCR) and S-Video Out (VCR) to S-Video In (TV).
