How do I transfer an office license from an old computer to a new

What steps do I follow to transfer a copy of Office 2000 from an old computer
to a new one? Is there an un-install wizard on the original disks? Do I need
to obtain an additional key code?

Did you purchase Office separately or did it come preinstalled on your old
computer?

I purchased office separately and installed it myself. I have the original
disks, key codes, etc.

Good. Uninstall it from your old computer and install it in the new
computer. You may need to select the telephone activation option. If so,
just explain your situation.
