How do I transfer Office 2000 to my new pc running XP? Program is.

I have a new pc running Windows XP pro, and I want to transfer several
program files from my old pc. The old pc is on Windows 98, and the CD drive
isn't working, so I can't install programs from CDs. I tried to send my
Office 2000 program (on the old pc) to a 1.44 diskette but the response was
that the diskette did not have enough space to copy the program.

Thank you for any suggestions.

Uh?
Why would a faulty CD drive on the OLD pc prevent you from installing on the
NEW one?
Providing you have a full (non-OEM) copy, just install it!

Thanks for your suggestion, but I do not have the installation cd for my old
pc. When I bought it, my pc had Windows 98 and Office 2000 already installed.

No installation CD indicates that the OEM version of Office will die
with the original PC. You will need to buy a valid copy for the new PC.
