How do I transfer Office 2003 license from one system to anoth...

Hello All,
I have Office installed on 5 machines which is maximum permitted by End
User License Agreement(EULA). I want to install it on another machine. So how
do I transfer the license to another machine? Do I have to uninstall from one
machine & then install on another or first install on the desired machine and
then uninstall from some other machine?

What kind of licence do you have? I don't know of any retail licence that
would allow installation on five systems and I do believe that you have to
have more than that to qualify for a Volume or Open licence.

Office retail: - One desktop and one laptop for the exclusive use of the
primary licensee

Office XP STE: - One system only

Office 2003 STE: - Three systems of the licensee's choosing provided all
users meet the licensing criteria.

Office OEM: - One system, not transferable unless hardware is also
transferred.

So, what type of licence do you have? But, yes, if you wish to install on
another system you must uninstall from one of the others. But I have a
feeling you might have exceeded your licence installations already. VL and OL
agreements can be installed on up to a couple of thousand systems (IMS).
