I would like to be able to write a letter in English and be able to have it

No, there's no version of Word that will translate
an entire document (or letter). There are services on the Internet, to which
Word 2002/2003 will help you connect, that can do this. But you have to
realize that a machine translation is rarely grammatically correct, and all
too often the content is not correct, either. Good translation still requires
a large portion of human judgement and experience...

is the correct question
