I currently have a large list of contacts saved in a spreadsheet (Excel/CSV format) that includes names, phone numbers, email addresses, and other details. I want to import these contacts into my smartphone, but my phone only supports the vCard (.vcf) format for contact imports. I am looking for a simple and reliable way to convert my spreadsheet contact list into a phone-compatible vCard file. Is there any easy manual method or tool that can help convert Excel or CSV contacts to vCard format without losing information?

Most of the people keep contacts in spreadsheets, but phones and email apps usually accept vCard format. When I tried converting my XLS contact file manually, the process was confusing. Creating the vCards one by one took time, and some details, like phone numbers and email fields, did not align correctly.
Then I found ToolsBaer Excel to vCard Converter. This utility helped me Export Excel contacts to VCF without complicated steps. Also, it works offline, so there is no risk of data corruption. And the interface is clear, so even beginners can manage the conversion process without technical confusion. It converts spreadsheet contacts into phone-compatible vCard files with precise field alignment. And it has many useful features for accurate conversion.
The software offers several helpful capabilities:
  • Converts Excel XLS and XLSX contact lists to VCF
  • Maintains exact contact details during conversion
  • Supports vCard versions 2.1, 3.0, and 4.0
  • Batch conversion for large contact lists
  • Intelligent field mapping for accurate results
  • Works with Windows 11, 10, 8, and 7
For a trial basis, you can also transfer a few contacts for free.
