I had a version of Microsoft works on which I put an auto-reply to my
e-mails. i have now a version of Microsoft 2003 and cannot remove the
auto-reply. Please help me? It's been over a month and I'm truly
frustrated. thank you.

Do you perhaps mean the "out of office" replies? If so, check the Tools menu
for "out of office assistant." I believe you must be using an exchange server
email account or you won't have this option on your Tools menu, though.

Thank you for further questioning of the issue. I do not have "out of office
assistant" on my tools menu but the auto-reply functioned in the same manner
by giving a message automatically that I was out of town which I had typed
in. I may have solved the problem now though as I went into folders and
discovered a window that yielded an option to turn off a rule. When I
deleted the rule, I had an e-mail report that the auto-reply message did not
appear. Thanks again.
