how do I turn off cartridge alignment alert once I've aligned?

Although I've aligned the cartridge as directed, each time I open a program
the alert directing me to align appears. How do I get it to go away after
I've printed the page, scanned the page and enterred 'finifh' as directed?

That is a printer driver or printer software issue, not a Windows or MS
Office issue. Contact the manufacturer of your printer and be sure to tell
them what version of windows you are using and what specific printer.
