Somehow I have managed to turn on a feature in Word 2002 that causes
registration marks to appear in each corner on each page of all documents.
This is the "L" shaped mark that you see on printer proofs. Any suggestions
as to how to turn off this feature? Thanks.

Disable any Asian language support in Office. Start menu > Programs >
Microsoft Office > Microsoft Office Tools > Language Settings, select
Chinese or any other Asian languages in the right-hand list, and click
Remove.
