How do I turn off the error sound alerts while listening to music?

confused easily

I'm trying to turn off the error dings on XL, while listening to music on my
laptop. I looked at my Options - General - 'Provide feedback with sound' box,
it was already unchecked, but while I listen to music with the laptop's
voulme setting 'on', every error dings at me (it's rather disconcerting!).
Any idea how to stop them?

Not an Office related problem - suggest you repost to a group that supports your operating system - probably one with hardware in the group name would be best.
