How do I turn off the MS Office Project Server notifications?

I have set up MS Project Server with SharePoint sites for my project team,
but can't get the daily e-mail message reminders to stop. Please help

From the admin menu, select Customize Project Web Access, select
Notifications and Reminders in the actions pane, then remove the connection
to the mail server. That will stop all email from being generated.

I do not have the option of "Notifications and Reminders" in the Actions
pane. Any other suggestions?
