how do i turn off visual notifiation for caps lock

HI,
when im typing- usually word or web- and i turn caps lock on and off i get a
little visual notification that i have done so. Its really annoying me as it
takes a second to disapear and interrupts my typing. does anyone know how to
switch it off? ive had a look in my control panel setting but cant find
anything obvious
