How do I turn up sound in slide show?

I am using powerpoint for a presentation. I have a narration for each slide.
When I play the slide show. I can hear the narration but cannot turn it up so
an audience can hear it. What is the matter

PPT plays the sound "as-is." You'll need to increase the volume of the
computer itself (Control Panel|Sounds and Audio, or look for a speaker on
your Windows task bar) or increase the volume of the sound files in a sound
editor.
