how do I type text under pp presentation

I have made a power point presentation and now want to type text under it to
use while showing the presentation. Would like it to appear when I send to
some people but not to show for others

You can add speaker notes in the area where it says "click to add notes." If
you don't see that area, go to View|Normal and then View|Normal (Restore
Panes). Or you can just go to View|Notes Pages and type in the text area
there.

Having the notes appear for some users but not for others isn't a feature of
PPT. You could save a copy of your file and strip the notes from it, though.
