How do I unblock an email attachment (.snp file)?

I have a user that needs to pull up Report Snapshots from emails he receives.
What do I need to change in his settings?

Have the sender change the extension from .snp to, say, .snx. When the
recipient gets the e-mail with the .snx attachment, they can rename it
back to .snp when they save it. The attachment security in Outlook
works just on the file extension.

Or, do a search on "Level1Remove" at http://support.microsoft.com/ on
whatever is the unmentioned version of Outlook to find the registry hack
to add extensions to the exclusion list. Since .snp is an extension
that the security feature in Outlook will block, the problem should not
be that the recipient cannot access the attachment to save it; i.e., a
file attachment with extension .snp should not be blocked (unless you
are adding further Level2 restrictions in the Exchange server to enforce
more restrictive policies).

Or, go to http://www.slipstick.com/ to find a link to the Attachment
Options plug-in to Outlook that gives you a UI (as a tab panel in
Options) to disable or enable which extensions get blocked and add any
of your own.
