How do I "uncheck" a checked out project?

I am trying to open a project that has been checked out by a staff member.
They have closed the project, but the project still has the checked out flag
set, and cannot be opened to be edited.

Is there any way for a project to be "unchecked"?

Justen --

Ask your Project Server administrator to do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions
2. Click the Admin menu
3. Click the Manage enterprise features link
4. Click the Check in enterprise projects link in the sidepane on the left
5. Select the project in question and click the Check-In button

Hi Dale,

I have the same problem as Justin--an employee checked out a project, but
after they checked it back in, it still shows as checked out. When I go into
project administrator and follow your directions, I run into the problem that
the checked out projects arent listed, so I can't select them to check in.

Any ideas?

Hi Chris,

If the user name has been changed since the user checked out the
project, that can lead to the project not appearing in the list of
checked out projects. See:
