how do i undo checkout of enterprise resources

Peter

Microsoft Project Server 2003 crashed during Save. At this time I had the
enterprise global resources checked out? Now I can't logon and reopen the
global resource pool...

If you go into PWA as Administrator, Admin page, under Manage Enterprise
Features, what is shown under Check-in Projects and Resources action on the
left?

thanks mate... that worked...

pretty pathetic performance is killing us. I update five users in my
enterprise resource pool and it takes >20 mins and sometimes hangs the server
(ok, now it has happened twice)... I saw a cross thread on this being related
to custom fields... but no definitive answer from MS.

Pretty much the only user on a dedicated monster server... with 4way/4GB
RAM... about 150 total resources and about 7 plans currently being managed on
the server.

Intuitively I hadn't been going to look at the server... but will
investigate that tomorrow after we do the upgrade to SP1 of Proj Server 2003

That size implementation should run sweetly... I'd get better performance
running on a 1Gb laptop!
What's the speed and data traffic on your network?
Are you accessing across domains? or WAN?
Single server or separate database / front-end servers? etc.

We had really poor performance when we first started up. Our configuration
had everything on 1 "monster" server. It would take 20-40 minutes to complete
a save on a schedule. We added a couple of smaller servers and broke things
up so we have a web server, a SQL server, and a MS Project server now. The
performance improved significantly.
