Using an earlier version of Word I could copy and past an AutoCAD drawing
into Word as a Word document. I could then ungroup it and change the line
width for all lines. Next I regrouped it to have a good graphic in the Word
document. With Word 2003 I have not been able to do this. Is there a way to
do it?

There's a command named "Disassemble picture" in Tools/Customize/Commands,
under the Drawing category. See if that's what you're looking for?
