How do I unlock a document?

HELPMEPLEASE

I am having trouble doing a school project. I am using Microsoft Offiice
Word 2003, and the document is "locked". Do you know how to unlock the
document? How?

starting microsoft.public.word)

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
