How do I upload powerpoint to an online class?

I am trying to upload a file to an online class forum. The maximum size is 8
MB, my file is 275 KB. I have emailed the powerpoint presentation in ppt view
successfully, but can not get it to upload. This file is due by midnight.
When I try to upload, the response is "Something was wrong with your post.
Perhaps you left it blank or the attachment was too big.

I think you need to contact the support staff for your school. This doesn't
sound like a PowerPoint problem, and we know nothing about your online class
software.

The uploading depends more on your online class system rather
powerpoint itself.
For my experience, usually, you can upload a powepoint to a learning
sytem as a attachment.
But if you are using standard-compliant LMS(Learning Management
System)
or CMS(Course Management System). you can not upload a powerpoint as
learning content directly.
You need third party tools to convert powerpoint to standard-compliant
learning content.
For a LMS or CMS, the standard is usually referred to SCORM or AICC.

You may see this
PPT2Flash Professional turns powerpoint prsenrtations to learning
content with SCORM/AICC compliance.
It will generate a zip file out of the orignal powerpoint file.
When done, you just upload the zip to your system.
