Hi Shopper Girl,

Do you just want to show such an expression (eg 2^3) or show its result (eg 2^3 = 8)? If its the former, simply superscript the
exponent. If its the latter, you could create a field via Ctrl-F9, type '=2^3' between the field braces (ie {=2^3}) and press F9 to
get the result.

If you want to show both the formula and the result, you could:
.. create a 1-row by 2-column table
.. insert '2^3' in the left cell
.. insert a field (created via Ctrl-F9) coded as {=A1} in the right cell, and
.. press F9 to get the result.
With the table approach, you'll find that changing the values i the left cell then selecting the right cell and pressing F9 will
give the new result.

Cheers
