how do i use an animated clip art (moving) in a pdf file?

I don't know that you can, but if your PDF was created using one of the
Adobe products (like, say, Acrobat), you'll be better off asking your
question on the Adobe forums.

the pdf, will be written in word and then converted to the pdf format using
the xp pdf converter and i was just playing and i can't get the moving clip
arts to go through their full animation.

I'm not familiar with the XP PDF converter. You might want to check with
whoever creates that PDF program.

I believe moving clip art (animated GIFs) show in Word only when you save as
HTML. I don't think they will continue to move in a PDF.

I have Acrobat Pro v7 and the only thing the Help file says about animated
..gifs is that you can create a .pdf file from any webpage that includes
animated .gifs. *However* it will only include the last frame of that .gif.

I don't think it can be done but I am not an expert.
