How do I use Outlook/Outlook Express with hotmail, I get error

When using Outlook/Outlook Express and it has to connect to Hotmail, I get
error message...... please help ....what do I need to do

Hotmail no longer allows access to free accounts using Outlook or Outlook
Express.

How can I use hotlook with hotmail....I understand this is no longer "free"
so what do I do now, what do I have to purchase?

You have to upgrade your Hotmail account to a paid account (see Hotmail's
web pages) and you have to use the MSN connector.
