How do I view powerpoint notes?

Help- I do not have an icon at the bottom of the slide that I can click to
view notes. I know notes are there- How do I view them?

In normal (editing) mode?
You can click View > Normal to restore panes.

You can also drag the bottom bar to bring the notes back to view.
