How do I view speaker notes without the audience seeing them

I am working in powerpoint and am trying to view my speaker notes without the
audience seeing them. How do I do it?

The Presenter View allows you to do this. Select "Slide Show" | "Set Up
Show..." menu item, check "Show Presenter View" box, click OK.
