How do I zoom on click command in PowerPoint

I would like to be able to zoom into a specific area during a Power Point
presentation, but don't know how to accomplish this. Any ideas?

Save the slide as an image, insert the image in the slide, resize it to how
you want and then add a trigger animation to create the zoom effect. See:
