how do we edit text in a watermark?

I forgot how I cerated the watermark - now I want to edit it and I have no
idea how to 'enter' the watermark ...help!

Presuming Word 2003, Format, Background, Printed Watermark. Or look up
Printed Watermark in Help.

I presume you are using Word? If so and used Format/Background/Printed
Watermark and added a text watermark then this is nothing more than
WordArt placed in the Header/Footer layer of the document.

Go to View/Header and Footer, select the watermark and the WordArt
toolbar should surface containing the commands you need to modify the
watermark.
