For example, when you mistype someone's email address, it automatically
offers that mistake as an option for autocompletion the next time. How can
we access that database to delete the mistakes?

No need to open/modify the actual cache file. Just highlight the erroneous
suggestion with your arrow keys, and press the delete key.
