How do we MODIFY a task's ownership ???

Our tasks in Outlook 2002 automatically show an owner in the ownership
field. The problem is that it is showing the wrong owner. It is showing a
company name rather than an individual's name. Where does the Outlook Task
find the owner name? The owner field background is grayed and we cannot
change the name from within the task window. So, how can we change or
modify the owner name shown in the task window? We would appreciate any
help.
