How do you change the default time Outlook 2000 refreshes the Inb.

users complaining they don't get new messages "as soon as they arrive." They
want Outlook to check for new messages every minute or two.

Firstly email is not, despite what you may think, an instant medium. I
believe the protocol considers the process functioning correctly if mail is
delivered within a period of some 24 hrs.
Setting OL check for mail option to less than 10 mins will likely cause
problems.

For SMTP mail, it's three days.
