How do you change the numbers on the top row to show the ABC vers.

I'm trying to change the way I view the excel chart, I would like to be able
to display the alphabetical version across the top part of the page, but all
I have is numbering in the vertical and horizontal view. Does anyone know
what I would need to do to alter the appearance of the chart.
