how do you get omni page 16 add-in direct ocr to work?

Omni-page 16 has the direct OCR ability to change Docs to PDF. the
instructions say go to add-in but in MS publisher nothing comes up. How do I
make it work? Is there another way to make a PDF file out of a publisher file?

Only if you have the Pro version of OP 16. That is then just a PDF printer
driver. Read the Help, PDF in OP 16 to see what I mean.

To add PDF creation capability to Office 2007 programs download the
Microsoft Office PDF converter.

Go here, download and run. This will place a new item on the File menu as
Publish as PDF in Publisher and will give you the option to SaveAs PDF or
XPS in other Ribbon version of Office programs.


You may also download free PDF creation programs. I use PrimoPDF from
http://www.primopdf.com/ (this site for the free download will take you to
CNet download which is a safe site.)
