how do you make a wave file on a powerpoint slide loop continuosly without
starting over on every slide?

And not to forget, you will need to put a checkmark to "Loop until next
sound" after adding the sound that you want.

If it is a single wav file across the slides, go to the slide where you want
the music to start, click Slide Show > Slide Transition.
Then, under Modify Transition, click on the Sound drop down and select Other
Sound.
Do NOT Apply to All Slides. If you have done so, the sound would repeat
every slide.

To resolve this,
click on the Sound dropdown under Modify transition.
Select No Sound.
Click Apply to All.

Now, add the wav sound under Sound dropdown again. Do NOT Apply to All
Slides this time round.
