How do you make FrontPage 2003 use CSS instead of HTML?

Hello,

I want to make FrontPage 2003 use CSS instead of HTML. For example, when you
go to Format, Background, and choose the link colours it uses the deprecated
attributes of HTML instead of the recommend CSS. I managed to make FrontPage
2003 to use that CSS as default but I do not know how. Can anyone help me
please?

Thank you,
Amarjeet

Not what I was looking for, but a good way. I made it insert CSS
automatically some how, when you go to that background properties.

mostly what you want to do is write an external style sheet then assign
those styles, classes, and ID's to either divs or tables, cells, and rows in
FrontPage.

Good answer. However, this does prompt me to remind Microsoft that FrontPage
is STILL using inline styles and attributes, which is contrary to their own
best practices of separating style and content. Even the "dreaded"
Dreamweaver defaults to using an external style sheet.

Yea thats how it could have done it automatically. I create my own styles in
TopStyle Pro v3.10. Then just link to the classes in FP, also delete the
info that is not needed.

Well, there. You can see that I am not very well-versed in DW. I wasn't
"exactly" correct. ;-)
