how do you open a pst created in MS Office 2003 using MS Office 2.

I created a pst file in Outlook 2003 then tried to import it to another pc
which still uses Outlook 2000.
The error message reads that 2000 isn't capable of importing the newer file.
Does anyone know a workaround?

In Outlook 2003, you have to export the data into a backwards-compatible pst
file. (not sure of the exact terminology, I don't use O2003!)

There is no work around. If you wish to transfer messages from OL 2003 to
OL 2002 or earlier, you must use OL 2003 to create an OL 97-2002-style PST,
move the items you wish to transfer into it, and then open (not import) that
PST with the earlier Outlook.
