How do you open office 2003 documents in office 2007??

When attempting to open a word 2003 document in word 2007 (beta 2) I get the
error message "The file '***********.doc' is not available". I have tried
creating a new document in 2007 & saving it, then when I try to reopen it, I
get the same error too. Please help.

You need to (A) download a compatibility program from MS or (B) do a SaveAs
in Office 2007 and save in the old format

OK, forget that. I read an earlier post about turining off the office plug-in
in Norton Antivirus (if you use it) - I do use this & did turn the plug-in
off. I can open word 2003 documents now!
