How do you print a booklet to an imagistics copier

I am typing a church bulletin as a booklet. WE have set it up as correct as
we know to print it. We have just purchased a new imagictics color copier.
When we preview the print it is perfrct. When I print to a laser printer it
is perfect. When I send the booklet to be printed on the copier, it asks for
11 x 17 paper. We want it on 8 1/2 x 11 to be folded in half (5 1/2 x 8). It
prints correct on lettersize paper for printer but not for the copier. WE had
computer engineer from imagistics some look and they could not figure it out
either. We are stumped. What are we doing wrong?
